The hotel was very close to millennium Park. Near a lot of places to shop and eat. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Definitely will be staying here again when I visit Chicago in the future

I have stayed in few fairmont properties and I have enjoyed it. From service to the cleanliness. When I booked this hotel, I was expecting it to be similar or even better than the other hotels. However, the Chicago property wasn’t impressive at all. They need to improve the cleanliness for better guest experience. Hospitality from reception staff could also be improved.

Fairmont Hotel - Chicago I had an unforgettable stay at the Fairmont Hotel in Chicago for my birthday! From the moment we arrived, the experience was top-notch. The check-in staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making sure we got an upgrade to a room with a better view for a small additional charge. It really set the tone for a wonderful trip. The hotel itself was beautifully decorated for Christmas, with festive touches that added an extra layer of magic to our stay. Our room was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, providing the perfect retreat after a busy day in the city. Housekeeping was not only friendly but also incredibly helpful, making sure we had everything we needed during our stay. The lobby during Christmas is beautiful. They only have valet parking for $81 a night. They tell you to call 20 minutes ahead of time for your vehicle I would call more like 30 to 40 minutes before. Other than that it was beautiful and very clean and up to date.

The guests are accommodated in non-renovated rooms with mould in the bathrooms, dust on furniture, and the venting is not cleaned, cracked tiles etc. The staff was friendly and accommodated me in a room, unfortunately, where the shower drain was not working. The 5 star hotels need to stop taking customers for granted and act up to their ratings.

Nice quiet location. Disappointed lack of WiFi in hotel fees. Dining options are prohibitively priced - even for breakfast where an over priced ‘al la carte’ option is only given. Having said that nicely located and friendly staff.

Stay near Millennium Park
The location was pretty good, just a few minutes walk from Millennium Park and some good restaurants. The room was large and reasonably comfortable, although I personally did not like the feather pillows. There were several cracked tiles in the bathroom but it was large, clean, and had plenty of towels and supplies. The front desk and valet staff were extremely friendly and helpful. For Chicago, it was a good hotel for the price.
