The property is in the middle of major upgrading - changing from one brand to another; still, the interior was clean, well appointed and inviting. The staff was welcoming and well trained. The outside needs signs to indicate it is open, because it looks like it is closed.

My husband and I loved our weekend stay. Room was clean and smelled fine. Will stay again the next time we come to the area. Breakfast was waffles (regular or blueberry), yogurt, cereal (you need to ask for milk), oatmeal, biscuits and muffins.

Good stay
The room was mostly clean with a few neglected areas in the bathroom. Bed was comfortable even though it was a little firm for my taste. Staff was good and the free breakfast was good but go early or the bread tends to run out.

Great little place to stay when in Cherokee. The breakfast was really good and that made all the difference in the world in comparison to other places in the area. All staff were super nice and helpful. Chris at front desk is very experienced in this field and knows how to handle every issue.

Fit our needs
We were there for hiking so didn’t need anything fancy. The hotel is showing its age and could use renovations. That said, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was the standard hotel offering which was fine for our purposes. The rooms and hotel were clean. The price was right and I’d stay there again.

The hotel is dated but very clean. The staff that I encountered were all very friendly. The breakfast was very good with plenty of options. The lighting in the parking lot was not good, they need to fix this asap. I have seen other reviews that mention the lack of lighting in the parking lot as well. Overall our stay was very nice and comfortable.
