"I was in the area for work, so I didn't get to see many of the sites (other than the worksite), but this really suited my needs. I don't care for the hustle and bustle of hotels and I am very tired of "eating out". Here, I had a kitchen and everything else a person needs without all the road noise and people. The owners were great, very friendly. I only got to see them once, but it was a good to meet them. I really enjoyed having the gas grill right outside of the door and was eventually able to make friends with the dog. I did miss having a window to see how late it was getting. Nighttime kept sneaking up on me. If you're traveling for business and appreciate the quiet, it's a very nice little set up. Next time I head up that way for work I will definitely see if they'll have me again. I enjoyed the stay and had all the amenities I needed to relax after a hard day on the mountain. "

"Great weekend at Camp Fortex. It was clean, comfortable and furnished with everything we needed. We really enjoyed the wood stove while we were playing boards games and cards. We will definitely be back in the summer. "

"The house has a very homey feel to it. It feels like you're staying at your grandparents' house. We loved the hot tub and made good use of it. The heat worked real well. A couple notes/ suggestions. Ad needs to be changed about what is provided. Ad says no toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, dishwasher pods or trash bags. But all those items were actually proved in the welcome basket, so I needlessly packed them. I was pleasantly surprised that although not provided, other tenants left other items like hand soap in the bathroom and dish soap. As a rule, I think hand soap, and shower soap and shampoo should be provided like a hotel would.Also, the location of the ceiling fan in the middle bedroom is unsafe while climbing into the bunk bed.Also, the wood stoves being advertised is a little deceiving because there was no wood or fire provided to light them.Otherwise, everything else was good."
