Very convenient to I74. Check-in was a breeze with Alexa at the desk. There is one family style restaurant across the street, but many other choices in Urbana city center approx. 2 miles away. This is an older BW but is still clean and comfortable. Above-average hot breakfast. Would stay again.

I am a 53 year old grown woman staying one night and the check-in staff felt the need to focus on and repeatedly tell me the rules and extra charges for having extra guests. Even charged me a $50 damage deposit. I confirmed it’s just me tonight. She still gave me 2 keys and repeated all the rules as if I was lying? Not the place to stay if you don’t want to be treated like an irresponsible child. Made me concerned about loudness and parties but it was quiet.

Rooms and overall cleanliness is OK. Disappointed about the replenishment of the breakfast items. Breakfast is from 6-9. Came at 8 AM and nothing was available. Had to survive on once slice of bread and little cereal. Expensive for the location and no value for the money.

The property was understaffed especially around breakfast time. Given that it was the week when freshmen joined UIUC, the hotel was occupied more than average. However, due to a shortage of staff, the utensils and, food was in short supply. Some breakfast items were packaged as opposed to being fresh. The issue was not with the staff that was present but rather with the management for not managing the rush properly
