The property is beautiful and the staff is nice. Usually we stay at the hotel but this trip we stayed at the shores condo. Overall the condos are nice , condo was clean and conveniently offers everything you need in a kitchenette as if you were home. Conveniently off the beach. The view was wonderful. only thing i didnt Like is the excessive spider webs and bugs throughout the staircase to enter the property , it appeared to not be often cleaned. Also the balcony from our condo had excessive webs and spiders hanging everywhere so it was uncomfortable sitting out and watching for spiders at the same time but overall nice property. Stayed before and will stay again.

I love that it is owned by the Turtle Creek Band of the Ottawa and Chippewa. I would wish that there were more activities and opportunities to learn about and appreciate the culture more. Other than some of the decor, there was little evidence of the Tribe's presence.

Overall we had a nice time. The lifeguards and most staff we encountered were helpful and nice. We entered the ice cream shop 2 minutes after 8pm as the door was wide open and lights on. The woman behind the counter look d at my 2 kids and me and said, “oh I’m closed. We close at 8.” As a former restaurant manager I would advise to have her close the doors prior to “closing up,” as it was inviting us in with the open door, light and her behind the counter.

My daughter had a golf tournament at A Ga Ming golf resort on Sunday/Monday. I was looking for an affordable option for one night on the Holiday weekend. Expedia had a good deal plus I had rewards. By the time my daughter finished her 36 holes and we had dinner it was 10:00. We checked in at 10:30 and out at 8AM. We missed last call and all reasturants and resort ammenities were closed but I still had to pay an extra fee for the resort even though i booked thru expedia. My bill from expedia said all taxes and fees were included.
