Good mordern hotel worth the 3 star rate
Well was really nice. In centre of Faro accessibility to different sector of town . Was away on a miniature vacy and i must say it was well worth it . There is a bus right outside the airport and cost 2.70 euros.. 15mins to hotel . Receptionist was a nice lady booked us a cab for our early mornin flight back

Convenient Location. Dated Room.
Convenient location but room was a little dated. Seemed some reno was done but not all. Our shower door leaked water so much they had to give us extra towels every day. They offered to change room but we didn't want to bother since our stay was short. So was offered breakfast at their restaurant. Young lady at reception was very helpful that way. Wish I got her name so I could give her a shout-out. She worked afternoon shift. The first guy we told about the issue didn't do anything.

Good location
Great location and good size of room. Looks recently refurbished and still requires some work on the furnishings. Breakfast was just okay, even hot food were served so hold. You can't check-in until 4 PM is a bit of pain.

The Stay Hotel in Faro is in a good location, many good restaurants within easy walking distance, one right next door, which was very good. There were plenty of shops nearby, everything from gift shops to high end clothes stores. It’s a short walk to the waterfront, where there are many more restaurants and bars, there are also a lot of boat trips available. The train station, and the bus station, are a further five minutes away. So location wise the hotel is fine, but otherwise not free of faults. After a delay at the airport we arrived late on a Saturday evening, in torrential rain, check in was quick and easy, unfortunately when we went to our allotted room, it had not be cleaned or prepared for our arrival, bed was unmade, bathroom dirty etc, they immediately allocated a different room which was fine, but it should never have happened, very sloppy. A few niggles, soap was supplied in the usual small bars, but the was no dish to put it in, so it slid around and made everything slimy. Another annoying thing was a continuous background humming, barely audible during the daytime but seemed to get louder at night. It was not the room’s air con, as that was turned off. Prior to leaving the UK I messaged them several times to ask about nearby parking facilities, as there is none at the hotel, they did not respond to any of my requests for information, that is very poor. For the most part the hotel is fine, as long as you don’t want to spend too much time there. The staff are ok.

Staff is friendly and helpful. When we arrived, my husband and I only got one pillow each and no blanket, so we had a poor night sleep but the next day, we asked for more pillows and blankets and they were promptly provided.
