"House was just lovely.. Decorated very beautifully. You could show up with just your clothing and be fine as everything you need is provided. "

"Perfect cottage for 2 and our two dogs. Everything we needed was on-site and the cottage was beautifully painted and decorated like a little island get away. The backyard was fully fenced and accessed from the cottage back door and worked well for our two dogs.Holden Beach was a few minutes drive over the bridge. We were there during a cold winter spell but still fully enjoyed the sunnier days walking the beach or riding our bikes on the bike trail. The owners are superfriendly and accomodating. There was plenty of room for both of our vehicles, a truck and an SUV. The cottage is set back from the road so it was nice and quiet. There was one place open nearby, a little diner named Archibald's that had very friendly service open Thursday through Monday. There is a Dollar Store , Walgreens and a Food Lion very nearby as well. We had a wonderful relaxing and peaceful visit and were sorry to leave our quiet retreat."

"Nice beach house in an area of tidy homes. Very well equipped although the pots and pans were showing hard use and lack of cleaning. Ocean front door to cottage was not secure, with wood rotting around door lock and knob. Deadbolt fastened but would not slow someone forcing the door. Also, master bed mattress was very soft and uncomfortable. That alone would have looking for a different rental in the future."
