Poor correspondence in booking this hotel,. After a long drive we arrived at the hotel early. Check in was at 4:00pm and we arrived at 2:00pm. When I booked the hotel I asked for an early check in due to our circumstances. However, we never recieved a confirmation email for the booking, nor a reply to our request to check in early., Then, upon arrival at the hotel, when I tried to check in, I was told I had to pay a $50 fee to check in early. I told them I was not aware of that because no one ever responded to my email. When I asked her if our room was ready she stated that it was but that we could not enter it unless we paid the extra $50. We tried to reason with her that we would be checking out very early, much earlier than the 11:00 check out, but that did not matter to her and she refused to allow us to check in early without paying the $50. I have never experienced this before ever at any hotel I have ever stayed. I have always been allowed to check in early, within reason of course, if the room was ready. The thing that makes me very disappointed was the amount of money we paid to stay there and we never even had an opportunity to use the outdoor hot tub which we were looking so forward to. If we had known that we would not have been able to use the hot tub we would have booked a much cheaper hotel for the short time we were there. I do not recommend this hotel and we will not be returning there.

Property as a whole was nice, but I informed the property about my personal problem-one member of the family passed away and because of which we have to cancel the booking as 2 guests on the booking were not able to join us. but the property manager was so stiff that they were firm on their policy of cancellation and didn't allowed the refund, even we informed them 12 days before the booking
