Always lovely to receive a large chocolate chip cookie when checking in. The personal greeting on the television when we entered our room was an unexpected nice welcome. The room and bathroom were both clean, modern, comfortable, and very attractive. The free shuttle service from the airport, and to the cruise port was wonderful. Only disappointment was the ugly view from our room, mostly parking lot and unattractive surroundings. I would stay here again, very convenient for cruises departing from beautiful, historic Boston.

Love that it's only a five minute walk to the red line and close to the airport with hourly airport transportation. Very quiet and safe. Nice lobby to chill in the evening. A perfect spot for our three night stay on Boston.

1) Supposedly had shuttle service. Got there at 9:45 pm and requested pickup at airport car rental. Told that driver got off at 10 so he cannot go out. Had to take a taxi back 2) Woken up by a loud party in next room at 2am. Called front desk at 2:30. By 2:45 the music lowered but the party was still loud. Called the front desk at 3:30 and security shut party down by 4am. Since we had to get up at 5, couldnt go back to sleep. Had to fly across the country with under 4 hours sleep. The security guard sought us out and apologized. That was ok. We come to Boston for two nights every quarter. Never staying in this hotel again.

Double Tree Bayside exceeded our expectations in every way. We chose this hotel because of its proximity to the airport and especially the cruise pier (15 minutes). The shuttle from the airport was free as advertised, but an added huge unadvertised bonus was free shuttle to the cruise pier! Room was clean (loved the personal greeting on the TV upon our arrival!), spacious, with a very comfortable bed. Would highly recommend this hotel for any traveler.

We booked a king bed and were told on check in they only had doubles left. My. Husband is 6’5 and doesn’t fit into a double bed so I pushed back and got the king I paid for. Did not like the “we are the overbooked” conversation

Great location. The beach is around the corner and train/buses across the street to get you to all the spots in Boston. Rooms looked clean except bathroom had a moldy wet smell. Over night it’s really quite so you get quality sleep. Shuttle service to airport is really convenient. However front desk doesn’t fully communicate with shuttle driver. He had no idea that we booked the shuttle until we called their attention like 3x. Overall I would stay here again!
