BEWARE!! If you are booking here because you need an airport shuttle and parking, and you want convenience to the airport, don’t do it! They are not included. Their shuttle only runs at certain times which is not advertised on third party sites (only on their site in small print which is hard to find), and when it does, only comes once an hour. Unless you are flying mid day (which why would you stay in a hotel?) you won’t have the shuttle and will have to pay for a cab or alternate transportation. Parking is also not included. When asked about this at the front desk, they said it’s not their problem it’s an Expedia problem so take it up with them. Basically that the false advertising that says free parking and hotel shuttle is on Expedia not them and they can’t change it or update it. The front desk lady was super rude, and not empathetic to the fact we not had to pay an extra $100 for parking and for a cab to get to the airport. She was basically just like sorry if you don’t like it you can cancel with Expedia, or you can give me your credit card. Much more affordable places with parking included and 24 hr shuttle included. And way nicer, more helpful staff. Beds are also way too soft and sunken in the middle so we had sore backs after sleeping.. one elevator was not working … We come to Calgary often to fly and stay because but will never use this hotel again.

The hotel was gorgeous walking in. The view out the patio was beautiful. We came here to celebrate a birthday with our family and found that upon check in and settling in our room it was NOT a relaxing experience that we hoped for when staying in a hotel. -The check in experience took a long time. Longer than I’ve ever experienced at any other hotel. -When we got up to our room (Suite) the a/c in the room was not working, coffee machine was dirty ( this is one thing I always check as I love my coffee) and phone wasn’t working to call down to the front desk, so I called from my cell phone to get these things dealt with. A couple guys came up to fix the A/c and they left to get a new phone and what I was told a new coffee machine. Phone worked but coffee machine was still dirty which was extremely frustrating that it was “replaced” with a new one that was STILL dirty. - we needed to use the pull out sofa for one of us and that was like laying on old springs. No one definitely can use that, so we just decided to use the couch and tuck the bed back in. (Garbage behind and underneath couch was seen - gross) Went to put the bedding on couch and there was no extra linens anywhere- so yet another call for that to be brought up. - the restaurant was ok not the greatest. - the pool had a film in it and left our bathing suits sticky after. We had to shower after We had such high hopes for this property but were disappointed and spent extra money to get a suite which was a waste

The check in and check out was a long tedious event. They required a deposit which seems odd for a chain hotel that is of a higher quality. When I checked out I had to wait for a house keeper to inspect the room. What kind of clientele to they usually have ? Do they think I stole a sink ? I have traveled to many places but this was very unusual. I dont like having a hotel greet me with with suspicion.
