We stayed in this hotel during the Thanksgiving holiday so there were no restaurants nearby open at night. However, on the other side of the street, there is the Casino resort. It is very close and easy to walk there. The staff at the front desk were very nice and friendly. Even though the hotel feels a little bit old compared with the others that we lived in during the entire trip, I still think it is good enough. The only comment is the television is not a smart TV. Our kid didn't like the channels with advertisements at all. If there is a TV that could connect with Netflix, that would be ideal.

When we checked in the door to our room had to be picked up and man handled to shut as it was broken. When we told staff our door was broken we were told there were no rooms to move us to. We managed to muscle the door to a proper position so it would close. Our room backed up to the kitchen so we were awake at 530 because you hear what sounded like pans being thrown across the room, and loud music. We came back later that morning and was able to be moved to another room that was better but when we got up to the room it smelled like marijuana. We thought it was coming from the vent when we were trying to figure out where it was coming from and looked out the window where staff was smoking marijuana below our room and it was coming through the air conditioning. When staff at the front desk was told because I was very unhappy because we do not use illegal substances and we had children with us the staff said oh well it’s legal here. I did not want my children exposed to anything. Hot water in the second room appeared not to work but when maintenance came up it was shown to us that it only worked when turned all the way to cold. Very unhappy for what I paid for our trip.

Other than the room door needing some attention maintenance wise, our stay was excellent. Front desk staff very professional & polite, also the breakfast staff both Thursday & Friday staff I forgot their names but both very professional & polite. The bath towels probably need more softener they were pretty stiff.
