A sophisticated dream vacation home ? so modern, yet so comfortable! Enjoy the huge open floor plan featuring a great living room, dining area, huge kitchen with a breakfast bar and stools, stunning vaulted ceilings with grand windows and views that will take your breath away. Escape to the screened porch or sunny deck, relax by the fireplace, play games, take naps, cook up a storm, and make this the best vacation ever! Healing House offers five bedrooms! The master bedroom has a King bed, the second has a queen bed and both are located on the main floor. The loft bedroom has a king bed and the remaining bedrooms both have double beds on the lower level. Further amenities include wireless internet, Central AC, satellite television, the wood burning fireplace, a charcoal grill and much more! Healing House II is medicine for mind and spirit!

Access to Seasonal Coolfont Mountainside Outdoor Pool and Hot Tub (Memorial Day - Labor Day) Coolfont Resort: Now open! Just a short drive away, the newly renovated resort offers an Olympic sized heated saltwater pool for $8 for adults, $6 for anyone under eighteen. 
**Please note, we have limited internet providers in the area and speeds can be very slow or problematic and may not support multiple users due to infrastructure issues. Please have hot spot service available from your cell phone provider as a back-up if internet is a necessity. Cell phone service can also be problematic due to the mountainous terrain.

So emergency vehicles can access the surrounding roads and properties, please do not block any driveways, roads or intersections.
 Please do not exceed the number of vehicles driven per the number of bedrooms.
Check in time is 3 pm or anytime after, please call our office to see if any early check in is available the day before or the day of your arrival.
Check out time is 12 noon promptly. Our housekeeping staff travels a great distance, please depart no later than 12 noon.
Please bring your own personal hygiene products (shampoo, soap, toothpaste, etc).
Please bring any spices and cooking preparation items (oil, foil, wax paper, etc). * If the property has internet service, the internet logon information is located on the refrigerator
We have a rental agreement that we email to you to electronically sign.
While we want our guests to enjoy their visit, please be respectful of the neighbors by refraining from playing loud music or any unacceptable behavior.
Guests must be twenty five years of age or older to rent this property.
CHECKOUT INSTRUCTIONS:
If traveling with a pet at a pet friendly property, please remove pet residue from the yard and pet hair from the cabin.
Check out time is 12:00 noon promptly.
Please do not leave any perishable food in the refrigerator or freezer, condiments are acceptable to leave.
Please bag all trash in a standard trash bag and ensure all recyclables are bagged. Garbage service will not remove any non bagged trash.
Place your garbage in the trash box at the driveway entrance (for Woods Resort Properties only, please take your garbage to the community dumpster just past the outdoor pool). Please call office for trash pick up if garbage is overflowing.
Please wash all your dishes or start the dishwasher.
If there is a wood burning stove or fireplace, ensure the fire is burnt all the way down and close the door or fireplace screen. DO NOT PUT WATER INSIDE FIREPLACE OR WOODSTOVE, WATER WILL CRACK THE DEVICE. Leave all ashes in the fireplace or wood stove.
Campfire ring burning - if property has a campfire ring, please make sure campfire is burnt all the way down and wet down with water before departing.
Please turn off all lights before departing. Ensure all windows and doors are closed and locked.
During summer months, please set air conditioning to 75 degrees.
During winter months, please set heat to 55 degrees.
Please return key to lock box and roll the lock box numbers on all zeros (0-0-0-0). Ensure you leave the key in the lock box for housekeeping to access the property.
Please leave the cabin in an orderly and reasonable condition, our housekeeping staff works very hard to make the properties sparkle. Gratuity is appreciated for the housekeeping staff.

Beautiful home!
The house was beautiful. There is no turn around in the driveway but it did fit 4 cars. We had to back out but it was not difficult at all. The bedroom in the loft has a door. There are two "windows" that overlook the living room but does not have glass. You could not see in the room from the living room. I would not report this as a negative. We had 5 couples (5 sisters with spouses) and the house was perfect. There was plenty of seating in the living room and also downstairs in the game room. Kitchen had everything we needed. It was conveniently located close to downtown Berkelely Springs which made it nice. The only complaint is the hot water tank. It was very small for a large house. After a few people showered we ran out of hot water. But even with that I would definitely stay there again!

Lovely house, well stocked
We really enjoyed our stay at the house for a ski weekend. The main room and the kitchen were absolutely lovely - just such a nice place to relax and hang with the family. The rooms were all nice, except that one of the kings is in the loft without a door and facing the living room. Otherwise the downstairs area for the kids was perfect - away from us so we could sleep and they could hang out playing air hockey and games downstairs outside the 2 rooms. The best part might have been the kitchen - we kept commenting how we found everything there! So easy to make dinners when you have all the right stuff! Would def come back again.

Girl's Getaway for 50th Birthday celebration
The Healing House was a beautiful home to celebrate a dear friends 50th/girls weekend getaway! With the 5 en suite bedrooms, we all had our own sanctuary to rest and relax and the common areas were awesome for being together! The open concept Living room/dining room/kitchen were so conducive for playing games and chatting one was in the kitchen cooking, one was in the living room knitting, two of us were playing games at the dining room table, while one was downstairs taking a nap, something she never gets to do at home, being a full time mom and wife! We loved this house and look forward for another girls weekend next year!!

Lovely house with lots of space for a girls weekend
Stayed here with 4 other college friends. There was a bedroom and bathroom for each person, which was great. The kitchen and great room are really nice. These spaces are comfortable, clean, and attractive. The bathrooms could be nicer, most are on the older side. I would also recommend new pillows. The beds were comfortable, the company was very responsive, and the kitchen is well stocked. A TV upstairs would be nice. There is a small family room in the lower level which would be great for kids. We enjoyed our stay very much.

We were 4 couples in our 50’s and early 60’s. We love to laugh, eat, drink and okay cards. We had a wonderful, relaxing weekend away. The home was beautiful, exactly as described. We enjoyed our time at the house as well as downtown Berkeley Springs.

Great place!
Just as advertised. Lots of bed and bathrooms and a great view of the fall foliage from the great room. Appliances worked well as did the heat. Good place for an old friends weekend. The driveway was a little challenging but if your car has a back-up camera, shouldn't be a problem.

The property is exactly as described, big living room space, very clean, every bedroom has its own bathroom! We like that it is in close proximity to many restaurants in and around Berkeley Spring. The check-in and check-out processes are really easy.

Beautiful setting and house
Had an awesome girls weekend getaway to celebrate a birthday. Perfect fit for us with each having her own bedroom and bathroom. The couches are perfect for snuggling up on for long talks into the night. Short drive to our favorite restaurants and spas. Owners have everything well stocked. Hope to return next year at this time.

Another great stay at Healing House!
This is the second time our group has stayed at Healing House and it was just as wonderful as the first. The property is just as described, clean, and well maintained. We love the large number of bedrooms and bathrooms and our favorite place to hang out is the lovely screened in porch. The driveway is a little steep and small and we were concerned about fitting all our cars, but we were able to make it work! We had 4 cars, 3 of which were small to mid sized SUVs, and they fit just fine. We will definitely stay here again!

Home Away From Home
The Healing is perfect for a large party vacation getaway. We had 7 adults in our entourage, and everyone was happy with the layout and the accommodations. It is truly a well built, beautiful home. We loved that each bedroom had a bathroom. Everyone could relax, sleep or shower without disturbing other guests. The kitchen was one of the best stocked kitchens that I have ever used when vacationing. Those cooking, especially for a large group, was raving over the availability of utensils, pans, glasses, the crockpot and more. I made a list of things that I wanted in my own kitchen when I returned home, and my sister is on the hunt for the crockpot. We loved that there were extra comforters in the downstairs bedrooms. It was much cooler than the rest of the house, but provided a perfect sleeping condition. The internet connection was great and the reception on the TV was perfect too. We were all able to get on our laptops to work or connect on social media. There were plenty of games and a nice space to relax downstairs if you want to get away and get some quiet time by yourself. It was great being able to sit on the screened in porch in the evening. The grill was perfect for an evening of burgers, hotdogs and sausages. A nice table is available for an outdoor dining experience. We had guests arriving and leaving at different times. Unfortunately, the driveway is very narrow. So, there was no double parking or room for turning around. We had 5 cars in the party, so we had to park the cars according to who was leaving first, second etc. Also, the washer and dryer are huge. So huge, I had to get help getting my clothes out of the washer because it was so deep. (I want one in my home, ha). There was quality laundry detergent and dryer sheets available for guests too. We plan to rent the Healing House again next summer. It was one of the best vacations ever!

Excellent family stay!
This house is fantastic and even better than the photos! The main room was spacious and allowed our whole party of 10 (adults and kids) to spread out. The house was clean and offered everything we needed in the kitchen for making meals and cleaning up. The hikes around the neighborhood were perfect and the pool was a lot of fun. I would definitely come back. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

We walked in and were impressed by the distinct smell of cleanliness. The cabin was bigger than expected and very well equipped. The kitchen was spacious with nice appliances and plenty of counter space. It had everything from a large selection of kettles to a food processor, and even a few things like tea, spices, and vinegar etc. My family really appreciated that every bedroom had its own bathroom. There were also plenty of games and books. Our 2 yr. old grandson liked the toys. We did notice occasional spiders and stink bugs, but hey, it's a cabin...and fall! Thank you! We will definitely keep this in mind. Arlene

Girl’s Weekend-Wonderful stay!
This property is clean, wonderfully equipped and spacious in a quiet community setting. Plenty of space for cooking and the kitchen is thoughtfully stocked with spices, utensils, teas and anything else you might need. We appreciated the short trail markings allowing us to explore without having to drive. The pool was clean and shaded-take a chair as there are no chaise/lounge chairs available. Yes, the driveway is intimidating at first, but we found backing in worked best and would not deter us from staying again.
