The small village of Benissa is one of the oldest towns on the Costa Blanca and is home to the 16th-century Lonja (auction hall), which currently hosts various traveling exhibitions. Overall, the municipality includes 4 km of coastline, consisting of numerous small bays, sandy or pebble beaches and cliffs. The small harbor bay of Benissa Costa is ideal for water sports such as sailing, kayaking and diving.
