Relax with an incredible Lake Avalon view here in Northwest Arkansas with so much to do including Crystal Bridges, ice skating, beautiful light displays in multiple nearby cities, plays and performances, riding or hiking the multi-use trails and enjoying a plethora of restaurant options. Great place for a large group of bikers, golfers, museum goers, families, etc. Beautiful Lake Avalon can be seen from the living room on both levels, both of which have a fireplace and a kitchen. The whole house has been updated with new floors, new paint and an expanded kitchen. Enjoy easy stone step access to the water's edge just 20 yards from the covered back porch. The screened balcony has 180 degree lake views. Amenities include an 8' x 24' floating swimming and fishing dock, gas and charcoal grills, porch furniture for lounging, fire pit with seating and 2 kayaks to paddle down the no wake lake to the park with a sandy beach, horseshoe pits, volley ball, and more. Perfect for small family reunions, getaways, shopping weekends, golf outings, tennis tournaments and biking/hiking adventures. Whether you are coming for an International Mountain Bike Convention, a visit to Crystal Bridges, or day trips in the Ozark Mountain area, this place will be new favorite your home away from home.

Located just 1 hr 30 min from Branson, 45 minutes from Eureka Springs, 35 minutes from Fayetteville and 15 minutes from Bentonville, it is the perfect retreat for Razorback games, Craft Fairs (October and May) , Bikes Blues and BBQ Rallies (September), and Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art events . Silver Dollar City, Gentry Wild Wilderness Drive through Zoo, The Passion Play, and Ozark Mountain Hiking trails. These options and more make perfect day trips. Enjoy the wonderful local restaurants and pubs in downtown Bentonville and Rogers with shopping nearby at Pinnacle Mall and other local vendors.

In addition to the 4 bedrooms that include 2 queen beds, one king and one twin trundle and bunk beds, the upstairs living room has a hide-a-bed sofa (queen) and a single pull out bed in the ottoman which can be moved to the screened in porch on a nice night. The downstairs living room has a futon that lays back to accommodate 1 adult or 2 children. In the downstairs kitchen, 3 waffle irons and electric skillet are available for a breakfast gathering . Kids can watch a movie in the trundle room while adults enjoy an outdoor fire and stargazing. A pack and play and a baby feeding seat is available. NOTE: The driveway is fairly steep but easy to get used to. In order to have a short walk to the lake you have to have a steeper driveway to negotiate. There are 2 parking spaces along the road for those less adventurous.

Nice long weekend
We had a great time kayaking and paddle boarding on the lake as well as enjoying the innumerable trails and outdoor activities nearby. The house was cozy and inviting with tons of places to rest and relax. I would note that this is probably not a great place for small children (3 and under) due to the steep backyard

We loved sitting on the deck gazing at the sparkling water and enjoying the cool fall breeze. The location was perfect, close to trails, golf, grocery and highway access. The kitchen was very nicely equipped. We had a wonderful stay!

Girl's Weekend Stay
We had a girl's weekend for a relaxing getaway. Overall, it was a great place to stay with room for us all to have our own room and also enjoy the common areas and outdoors. Pros: - Good amount of space for everyone - Great views and access to the lake - A/C and ceiling fans worked great - Board games available - Two kitchens with easy access to the lake-view patios - Well-stocked kitchen with most everything needed to cook breakfast and one dinner that we made there - Good value for the location and number of rooms - Laundry access - Paddleboards and kayaks were free to use, which was great - Dock was easy to access with the stairs and was enjoyable to hang out on near the water - Easy access to hiking trails - Had a 10-cup coffee pot and a Keurig - Had general spices needed and non-stick cooking spray and other basics, which was great Cons - Overall the home and furnishings are dated (which is likely reflected by the price) - The patio furniture wasn't super comfortable, made wanting to sit out on the patio for extended periods less appealing. Plenty of seating, but none had significant cushion for relaxing for extended periods (we were there in fall, so it was nice to sit outside) - Feels like the outdoor space could have used some sprucing up; overgrown landscaping, etc. - Didn't have a baking dish to use (like a pyrex/cake pan style) but we ended up making do with a turkey roasting pan, so it worked. Great value with the location being right on the lake.

House was very clean and had everything needed. Really liked the lakefront access. They provide everything needed to enjoy the lake including kayaks, floats, and a paddle board. Really enjoyed the time spent here with family and friends. We woukd definitely consider staying here again.

We stayed here for our daughter’s wedding at Mildred B Cooper Chapel. It was a perfect location. We were 10 minutes away from the Chapel. We loved that it was pet friendly, so we could take our Wheaten with us. The place was super clean & was very cozy. It was also well stocked with plentiful linens & a well stocked kitchen for your cooking needs.

Perfect family lake house

We (2 adults and 4 teenagers) enjoyed our stay in Bella Vista. There was enough to do at the house that we didn’t feel the need to find other things to go do. The teens loved being on Lake Avalon with the kayaks and paddle boards that were provided. The boys enjoyed fishing and caught several fish. The girls enjoyed floating on the lake. Our last day, we went to the Tanyard hiking trail and had a great time exploring the “pig pen“ and playing in the water near the falls. The house has plenty of space. My husband and I loved the screened-in porch and quickly decided that was our favorite spot. We could keep our eyes on the kids while they were having fun on the lake, but we mostly enjoyed the view. One morning, while sitting on the porch, we saw an eagle flying above the water on the lake. We definitely recommend staying at this house on Lake Avalon.

Lakehouse oasis with everything you need!
We rented this property as a small church youth group (girls) and a few adult leaders. The house has so much space, and we were all impressed with the thoughtful touches throughout. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare large meals, which was very convenient. The outdoor space is even better! We had the time of our lives paddleboarding and kayaking from dawn until dusk. The inflatables were so fun! We enjoyed a quiet evening around the firepit and nightly devotionals around the outdoor dining space. As can be expected, the dock got a little slippery when wet-- we just put down a beach towel for traction and the problem was solved (just a suggestion if you find that a concern). I hope to come back another time with my family!

Family vacation
Had a great time on the water with family. We had 9 people total 4 adults 5 children ages 11to 16. Everyone enjoyed the stay. Inside was plenty big enough for our group. Most of our time was spent on or around the lake though. We fished from the dock and caught perch, catfish, and bass. The hiking trail we visited was a short drive away and perfect for our family. The location is perfect with shopping and good food just a short drive from the house.

They thought of everything
We had a great stay! The hosts have stocked the house with games, puzzles, lake gear and all the things you may have forgotten. The house was clean and check-in, check-out instructions were clear. We had kids ages 14, 12, and 10 and 4 adults. We had plenty of space and the rooms were comfy. The lake was quiet and swimming off the dock was enough fun that we barely left the house the whole time we stayed. This is a great home!

Great experience!
Our family had a wonderful time staying here. Our kids enjoyed fishing at the lake, our 10 year old caught over 40 fish over the weekend right off the dock! The kayaks and paddle boards were perfect for our older children. We loved being able to relax in the mornings, and take in the beautiful view of the lake. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax all weekend. We enjoyed the additional kitchen downstairs and easy access to the grills right outside the sliding doors. Our family made so many memories and they were all requesting we come back to this lake house next summer!

We valued the private lake access the most during our stay. The owner left plenty of lake toys, kayaks and paddle boards to use at the property. We didn't have to fight anyone over a beach access. We just went straight to the dock on the property to enjoy the water.

The house and bathrooms are dated but the price reflects that. We loved the set up with a young family having the downstairs to spread out. We had a great time playing with all the lake toys.
