Great deal for the cost. In an excellent area. I was able to walk all over the city and see most of the major sights. Very safe. My only complaint is that the hallways were a little loud at night, but I would absolutely stay here again.

The private room with an ensuite was as good as any hotel I've ever stayed. The bed was comfy as hell and we slept great. Endless options of things to see, eat and shop in the area.

No question the location is great, the place is charming and well decorated. The bed and particularly the mattress was is such a bad shape though, that we spent four horrible nights. We left with back pain and won't return.

Pros: LOCATION, staff Cons: NO WIFI in the room throughout the entire stay (connected for 3 seconds, basically no wifi in the room. It works in the reception area). Noisy in the early AM and late night (hear water running down, wooden floor steps, door slamming, kitchen and back of the house noise)

Loved staying here. The dorms were really bright and spacious, though it definitely felt more like a hotel than a hostel. Met lots of ppl through their nightly pub crawls which were super fun and you get to visit quite a few places; shoutout to our 10/10 guide Danny!

The staff at this hostel are abusive and horrendous. From the moment I checked in I was met with terribly rude and unhelpful men. I tried to extend my stay as my flight was delayed and there were many rooms available online and they threw all of my bags and all of my belongings outside of the room and made me feel VERY unsafe as a solo female traveller. Casa Gracia is ran like a 4 star hotel that's actually a high end hostel with the best attributes of both. A Metro stop is practically across the wide streets from the Casa which is a beautifully.ornate formal private estate home. La Casa has Nice working bathrooms , creative storage within the stairs to the upper bunks, a full kitchen, community refrigerators and lovely interior and outdoor common spaces for work, meeting friends or just relaxing. Front desk staff are so helpful and amicable. And then the neighborhood couldn't be better. I've stayed in different parts and places in Central Barcelona and I found this place and neighborhood to be just about the best in proximity to good restaurants, shopping, local cafes, convenience stores, bars, and interesting sites. Will return !

Immaculate Design and Romantic Breakfast
Booked the six bed room with one bathroom. It was a comfy and fun experience. The only downside was sharing one bathroom among six people, naturally. This was definitely the most beautiful hostel I've stayed at. It has unique and memorable interior design and whoever designed it deserves a raise. You feel like you're in someone's fun, campy, tasteful mansion. The dining room and outdoor seating area for breakfast was the most wonderful place. The breakfast selection was very good. I would love to have breakfast outside there every day this summer if I could.
