Immersed in the rolling hills of Chianti and surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, I Glicini, an ancient barn carefully restored.
In the three apartments, of different sizes and all furnished with great care, we will be happy to host you for a holiday in the heart of Tuscany.
From here you can easily reach the most important places of art in this region (Florence, Siena, S. Gimignano ...) or take the suggestive Chianti roads.
In the garden and swimming pool you can spend relaxing hours immersed in the greenery and peace of the Tuscan countryside.

Each apartment has an entrance and a private terrace equipped with an outdoor table, chairs, BBQ and umbrella.
Inside the kitchens are perfectly equipped with oven and fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, toaster, kettle, iron. You will also find a wide supply of dishes and cooking accessories.
The rooms are carefully decorated and each has a private bathroom.
Linen is provided for the bedrooms and bathrooms, with weekly change.

Beautiful, spacious, clean with beautiful views.
We loved this home. It has a large family area and three very private bedrooms, each with their own assigned baths. The rooms were spacious, clean and the beds were comfortable. Two rooms had queen beds and the third had 2 twin beds. The owner was amazing, walking us through the home plus providing amazing guidance on what to do, where to go and how to travel. This was absolutely best place and will definitely consider again when we travel back to Italy. Only thing to add would be a portable fan to dry the clothes faster. I highly recommend.

True Tuscan experience
This home was in the perfect spot with wonderful views outside of the windows. The smell of the flowers blooming was wonderful. We absolutely enjoyed our stay. There is a town close by called Travarnelle with everything you need, groceries, restaurants and more. Lucia and Roberto were so quick to respond when needed. They made everything super easy. She went over everything in the house and places to visit as soon as we arrived. They even included a delicious bottle of wine. The house is equipped with everything you need like pots, pans, coffee pot etc. You may want to stop by and pick up extras as the house is pretty bare boned. Every room has a mini split if needed for a hot day. The pool was so refreshing for my kids, always squeaky clean.

Nice apartment
Large three-bedroom, three-bathroom apartment with a nice layout. The description on VRBO does not make it clear that you are only getting an apartment in a building that includes two other apartments. I thought I was booking a house. We stayed four days when the weather was not that cold, but we needed the heating, for which there is a separate charge. For four days, we spent another 100 euros. The apartment was clean and the linens and towels were of good quality. The appliances, pots and pans were in good condition, but there were no essentials whatsoever --- no coffee or tea, no dishwasher detergent, no paper towels, no condiments, no shower soap or shampoo. There is only one key, so a larger group would need to coordinate all activities. And the noise from the other units the building is not what I was hoping to get for a visit to the country.

Beautiful Oasis in Chianti
Beautiful relaxing property in the Chianti region. Our kids loved the pool and the view from the top floor overlooking the vineyards never got old. Fairly convenient driving distance to Florence (35 min) and Sienna (40 min) as well as all the smaller towns in the Chianti region (30-40 min), beautiful but small and windy roads so be aware you will do a fair amount of driving. Was a bit difficult getting in touch with Lucia prior to the journey and check-in instructions could have been clearer but once we got there everything was great. We enjoyed eating outside on the patio in the evening and the grounds were well kept and very relaxing.

Lucia was an excellent host. The location is very quiet with beautiful views of the surrounding area. She provided a lot of useful information about the area and helped us with dinner reservations. Our only issue was a nightly noise (sounded like crickets) in the wooden beams in the kitchen/living area. No other issues and we would recommend this apartment to others.

Lucia and Roberto are the sweetest most gracious hosts! The apartment was perfect for our family, clean, authentic rustic Italian decor and the pool was immaculate everyday and fabulous. Best place to stay in Tuscany
Our first visit to Italy and choosing Lucia and Roberto’s home to stay in could not have been a better choice! The views are spectacular! Their home is an authentic Italian villa which was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. They have a beautiful well kept pool. The location is centrally located between Florence and Siena and great for day trips to many locations. The best of all is Lucia and Roberto! They are warm, loving people and were so helpful with suggestions for places to visit and dine. They take pride in their home and want others to enjoy.

Beautiful home, hosts and view!
The home is absolutely wonderful with some beautiful views of neighboring vineyards. The home is absolutely comfortable and spacious. Our hosts Lorenzo and Lucia and Roberto were wonderful as well. They took us to a wonderful restaurant so that we could have dinner. Awesome restaurant! We were truly looking forward to 3 days of enjoying the home when we had a car accident. Our hosts were wonderful and even took half of oir group to the hospital in siena. I would stay here many More times! Cannot express my gratitude enough for Lucia, Roberto and Lorenzo's hospitality during our stay. Grazie mille!!!

Beautiful Accommodation
First the bad bits: when we booked the accommodation almost 10 months previously we had no knowledge of this being an upstairs apartment, it was not until we noticed this in a review a few weeks before our departure that we found this out. We feel it should be stipulated on the HomeAway website that the 3-bedroomed apartment is up 17 steep stone steps, this is the only criticism we have of this accommodation, this might seem a small thing but due to medical reasons last year I would not have been able to climb these stairs (maybe a microwave would also be helpful Lucia). The owners Lucia & Roberto are everything other reviewers have already said if not more so, they are accommodating, pleasant and simply cannot do enough for their guests, they are truly people who although owning the property and running a business seem to enjoy doing so. Roberto is around every morning before guests are awake watering the gardens and cleaning the swimming pool, which we’d add is one of the cleanest pools we’ve seen. Lucia comes to the property several times each week to check everyone is happy and content. The accommodation itself is spotlessly clean, all pots, pans, cutlery and crockery is clean and without chips or damage, bed linen and towels are changed every Saturday without fail, great when you’re staying for 4 weeks we did. We really cannot fault the property and it’s easy to see how much care to detail is taken by Lucia & Roberto to ensure you have a pleasant stay, thank you to both of you. We would not hesitate to recommend this accommodation to anyone

Amazing Views
We arrived at I Glicini after 2 weeks spent in some very busy tourist areas - it was a welcome relieve. We stayed in the 3 bedroom/3 bathroom apartment that was upstairs in what was once a barn. The apartment was very clean and had an amazing view from the dining area window. The pool was exceptional with umbrellas for shade, and lots of lounge chairs with cushions. We saw Roberto out cleaning the pool early each morning. Roberto and Lucia were wonderful hosts, very responsive with any of our questions or minor issues. They made us feel very welcome. Also their son Lorenzo met us on our arrival day, which was a Sunday and he was very helpful. They gifted us with a bottle of wine from a local family run small winery called Poggio al Bosco, that was excellent. We booked a wine tasting there with Elena and it was one of our favorite places. We would highly recommend I Glicini if you are looking for a place to relax in the Tuscan countryside. You do need a car if you are planning to stay here.

Very charming location. Lucia was lovely and her son gave us great recommendations on how to get into Florence easily. Heating (and air con) are an extra charge... I can see how great this place would be during the summer - sitting outside enjoying the scenery and pool. During the winter it is still great, but the tile floors were cool (bring slippers in winter) and it would have been nice to have a television, since the sun sets so early in the winter (in the summer I wouldn't have wanted it with the pool and outdoors). The apartment is spacious and nicely decorated. The kitchen was well equipped.

We had a wonderful time at Robert and Lucia's property in Noce. It was central to everywhere we wanted to travel and yet in beautiful country setting. The common kitchen area was the perfect place to start and end our days as it was large, had wifi and we could cook and catch up from all the discoveries from the day. Each bedroom area was also well positioned to have privacy if you wanted it from the larger group. There were six of us and the upstairs fit us very well. Robert and Lucia have worked very hard to create an authentic, beautiful setting. We loved going to Café Italiano in town. Lucia was very helpful with any other questions we had or advice we needed. We had a wonderful trip and we are very thankful for such a positive experience.

Le logement était vraiment beau et fonctionnel pour une famille de deux adultes et trois adolescents. L'emplacement était excellent à mi-chemin entre Sienne et Florence. Wonderful days in Tuscany!

Für unsere Familie (2 Erw, 2 Kinder von 7 und 11 Jahren) hatten wir die große Wohnung (1. OG) gebucht. Für Mitte Oktober war es wunderbar warm in der Toskana - toll, dass der Pool noch geöffnet war, das Schwimmen an den Nachmittagen nach den Ausflügen war super. Die Lage ist sehr verkehrsgünstig für Ausflüge nach Florenz, Siena, Volterra, etc... Wohnung sehr sauber.

Wunderschöner Familienurlaub
Wir waren 14 Tage als Gesamtfamilie (Großeltern, Elternpaar mit Kind - 2,5 Jahre, Elternpaar mit Kind - 14 Monate) in der Wohnung Glicini 3, im 1.Stock des Anwesens, mit herrlichem Ausblick in die Weinberge und weitere Umgebung. Jeder der 3 Familien hatte sein eigenes Zimmer mit Bad, der große Gemeinschaftsraum war ideal zum Kochen und gemeinsamen Essen mit allen zusammen. Die Küchenausstattung ist sehr großzügig und völlig ausreichend für eine große Familie. Der großzügige Treppenaufgang in die Wohnung war ideal auch für die Kinder. Alles war sauber und gepflegt. Gute Betten, schöne Bettwäsche, ausreichend Handtücher. Jede Woche frisch. Alles am Haus ist durchdacht und gepflegt. Unsere Gastgeber, Lucia und Roberto, immer freundlich, zuverlässig und hilfsbereit, diskret und gastfreundlich, man spürt, dass ihnen das Wohlbefinden der Gäste dm Herzen liegt. Der Swimmingpool war besonders schön für alle, klares und frisches Wasser, täglich unauffällig gewartet von Roberto. Aufgrund seiner Größe gut geeignet um zu schwimmen. Die Lage der Unterkunft ideal für Ausflüge in das Chiantigebiet und die Toskana. Kurzum, ein toller Familienurlaub in herrlicher Umgebung. Das Clicini 3 kann man wirklich weiterempfehlen. Abbiamo trascorso 14 giorni con tutta la famiglia (nonni, genitori con bambino - 2,5 anni, genitori con bambino - 14 mesi) nell'appartamento Glicini 3, al 1° piano della struttura, con una meravigliosa vista sui vigneti e sulla zona circostante.

Magnifique région. La villa est très bien située, à proximité de beaux endroits à aller visiter.
Absolument à visiter : Sienna, San Gimignano, Firenze, marché de San Casciano. Tavarnelle est un très beau village avec de très bons restaurants avec un accueil chaleureux et le personnel d'une gentillesse incroyable : restos sur la place : Il Caratello et La Cuccina di Catharina et la pizzeria A Puteca sont vraiment à conseiller. Le mardi soir il y a la fête au village et il faut absolument aller au resto Il Caratello car il y a la Bistecatta qui est vraiment à conseiller. Sur la place il y a aussi la boulangerie 'Il Forno di Piazza' : le pain et les baguettes y sont succulentes. Du jamais vu. Et le personnel y est très chaleureux, accueillant et d'une gentillesse exemplaire.

Wunderschöne Zeit
Die Wohnung und der Pool sind sehr schön,gepflegt und sauber. Für Ausflüge ist die Lage perfekt und sehr zentral. Auch stehen die Vermieter jeder Zeit mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Jeder Zeit wieder, die Toskana ist wunderschön.

Emplacement idéal pour visiter la toscane
Appartement très agréable idéalement placé pour les routes du chianti , la route des crêtes et tous les points principaux de la toscane .(sienne , san giminiano, pise…) Très bien équipé, une piscine spacieuse agréable très bien entretenu . Les hôtes sont sympathiques , attentionnés et très disponibles. Lucia maîtrise remarquablement le français et apporte si besoin une aide culturelle. Pour nous tout a été parfait nous sommes ravis et bien sûr je vous conseille de visiter cette superbe région en profitant de cette location unique.
