We found the Roost just as pictured back in March, 2024, so we decided to return in March, 2025 (trip having been delayed due to Hurricane Helene recovery) with a sister and brother-in-law along to enjoy the Roost, Waynesville and the surrounding area. The Roost never disappoints. Owners Keith and Susan offer all the necessities of home plus more! They are also very knowledgeable of the area and always go the extra mile in researching questions for answers. The mountain views from the front porch rockers, swing and table cannot be beat any time of day! The Roost is a slice of heaven!"

"Our Brookside Cottage was a great place to enjoy a delightful week in Waynesville. The outside design, with the breezeway in the middle, allows for a quiet and peaceful stay. The inside is warm and welcoming - including delicious homemade cookies - with everything you will need. The full kitchen is well appointed with a nice table to enjoy meals. The living area has a comfortable couch for TV viewing or relaxing in front of the fireplace. The bed was very comfortable. There is also a good sized dresser and bed side tables. A nice, roomy bathroom includes the washer and dryer. We highly recommend the Brookside Cottages if you are looking for a lovely, very clean and comfortable place. It’s convenient to downtown, grocery stores, and restaurants. We will definitely return. Thank you, Dina!"
