The two ladies at the front desk were nice. There was no shampoo or was rag in the room. I was told the manager had all that locked up. There was an area set up for cereal and other breakfast food but they didn’t put anything out but some coffee. I asked for a non smoking room and it smelled like a chain smoker just left! I used a hand towel and a tiny bar of soap to wash my hair and body with. I would rate it a -5. Terrible

The room was nice but they should of let me know they were remodeling. There was no gym or breakfast available. These things were mentioned as an amenity. I would of stayed somewhere else if known prior to booking.

Average stay during renovations
The service I got was friendly. However, waited several minutes just to check in. However, the front desk clerk was busy assisting in renovations on the 3rd floor and didn't know me and another individual were wanting to check in initially. The room I stayed in was a 1st floor room that looks to have been renovated. The only downside of the room was the platform bed I slept on. Apparently, Sonesta ideal for hotel beds isn't good. Last 2 Sonesta hotels I've stayed in (Select in Durham, NC & Essential in Augusta, GA) have given me the worst back pain from sleeping I've ever had. Also, the hotel said it offered free complementary breakfast, but that never happened. Good service, but likely I won't return. Sonesta is not a good hotel brand.

Worse experience ever
This was the worse experience I ever had. It's took the front desk person over 30 minutes to come to the front desk so i could check in. The hotel wa hard to locate. Elevator didn't fully work. Old pulled up carpet rolled up in the stairs well. The room smell moldy, old and musty. It didn't have an ice bucket or trash can. The room wasn't clean well. This was supposed to be a three nights stay but i couldn't stay in theses condition. I check out that morning. And I will not be back ever again.

No one was at front desk for ten minutes when I was trying to check in. It smells moldy and the room was 80 degrees. Needs airing out or freshness in the hotel.

The property is new and their renovating while renting rooms out. So don't expect glamour. My room was clean except the tub but I brought my own cleaning supplies and towels. the beds was very comfortable just like 5star but no microwave. TV was up to date but not fast Internet provider. All in all the stay was quiet and the location didn't put me in fear for my car.

Hotel is under renovation but overall good value for money spent. Will definitely stay here again. Location close to all restaurants and easy access to interstate. Hotel being renovated and upgraded
