Nice hotel in a great location. We are VIP members, because we book and stay at lot's of the best hotels in Auckland. Main issues we had is on both the last 2 times we have stayed at M Social and on both occasion's when we checked in I told the staff we don't drink alcohol and if the mocktail alcohol free cocktails are part of VIP and they said yes. On both occasion's when we go to get them during the day they said no we have to drink alcohol and mocktails are not part of it? This is very uncomfortable and embarrassing so what should be a nice experience with my family turns into a hassle. Not everyone drinks alcohol. Also $40 each for breakfast is very high, The Grand was half the price for an amazing breakfast.

I was stoked to extend my stay at M Social. Start your day with one of the best hotel breakfasts in town, then check your list of sites to experience museums, neighborhoods, food, shopping, and beautiful sites of Auckland. I even managed to get some work done... Everything you need for a a work or pleasure trip was included in the stay. Impressed!

This is a very wonderful experience, the staff is very knowledgeable and hospitality is 5 stars. The inclusions gallore are so wonderful to add in this is hands down the best breakfast I've experienced in a hospitality/ hotel brand. Amazing. Extended my stay because I couldn't leave! Too good. Excellent service and amenities.
This was our second stay and we enjoyed it again. The service at M Social is what elevates it above other similar properties. All staff are friendly . The room is comfortable with all the amenities you expect in a 5 star property. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was delicious. Likewise the breakfast was first rate. Would stay again and recommend to others.

Almost too Insta-Ready to Function
This hotel is really great. Located on the waterfront in the CBD, it's wickedly-easy to get here from the Britomat rail stop, bus lines, or ferry terminal. Close to lots of dining options and nightlife, and just a short uphill walk from the Sky Tower. Staff was pleasant, responsive, and helpful. Rooms are well-appointed and with great views. The only real odd thing is that the place is almost insisting on being Instagramable, which somehow detracts from the experience. When everything seems ready for the Gram, it's less a hotel and more an experience, perhaps? But it was a great price, clean, and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.
