It was cancelled without notice and wasn’t treated very well. They gave us no options other than we were just going to have to look elsewhere….. I called Expedia there response wasn’t much better other than there was nothing available around the area. They offered us a room on Bradenton Beach or Anna Maria island ….DUH; they were abandoned areas with 15 to 20 foot surf expected….. We finally found a motel in Brandon with one open room that cost me alot more for the 3 nights. It was a big inconvenience way up there for us….. Thanks for a very disastrous experience…!!!

Mold beneath hvac wall unit w dry rot. Wall opens to the exterior. Mold beneath bed. Mold on the ceilings. The vinyl flooring felt slimey. The bathroom stunk. The internet service was choppy.

Hotels.com, You dont did it now!
This is not a Motel 6 issue. IHotls.com screwed up once again. Even after getting a confirmation that the reservation was set even with a confirmation number the hotel never got it. Forcing me to rebook on the motel website. We use Hotels.com for our business but this was the last straw. When I tried to call customer service I was promptly told that there was a 2 hour hold time. So at 2100hrs I wouldn't talk to someone till 2300hrs. Total BS. And to make it even worse, this was a non-refundable booking.. So a Motel 6 cost me nearly $200 for the night. In the end, I got a room off the company website and had a good shower and went to bed. Will book again just not on Hotels.com

Moldy Bathroom. Beside the obvious smell, the shower curtain had mold on it. No tissues, no shampoo, no glasses of any kind. Front door had visible gaps around it. However the front desk lady was very nice!

The Room didn't have any hanger or a hair Dryer. They said they would bring hanger the next day. They never came. They didn't clean my room. They said they never had a hair dryer. It wasn.t worth the price I paid.

What a terrible experience. Entire room was filthy. Mold all over including the shower curtain. Door would barely close and had a huge gap that bugs were crawling in through. No fire alarm wired. Just a metal box with 2 red wires hanging out. My house was flooded from a hurricane and it was in better condition than the hotel was . Constant smell of weed around the entire property.

I will never stay on a Motel 6 ever again
To start things off, the hotel cancelled a portion of everybody's reservation without any notification. When I arrived at the hotel there was a line of people waiting for a room, rooms had not been cleaned. I had reserved two nights, they had cancelled my second night. The room they initially assigned me was not ready. Had to wait for over an hour to get another room that did not have the fridge or microwave I had asked for. The air conditioner was leaking water inside the room. I will never stay on a Motel 6 ever again

It was disgusting. A homeless shelter. Whiskers and hair in sinks and tub. Exposed wired smoke detector. No Wi-Fi. No hot water. At 7a.m. I awoke to people talking loudly right outside my room. They were having car problems. Then I hear a leaf blower start up. They were using it on their engine for some reason. They obviously were tenants. Where are the codes enforcers for Bradenton? It is totally illegal to have a gas powered item in your hotel room, especially with no smoke detector. Plus, there was a RV parked in the lot which somebody was obviously living in along with old couches, etc. Really, really horrible. Expedia should not be selling this property.

I liked the girl at front desk. Very respectable, very friendly and very knowledgeable. The girl on the evening shift(Tuesday evening) shouldn't have her job at front desk. She was very rude, inconsiderate and not friendly at all. Her boss needs to know about the type of person she is. Thank you our girl that worked before 3p on our check in date.
