Upon checkin I discovered there would be a fee of $40 per dog. I told her I wasn’t aware of it. Rather than use WORDS she pulled out a folder and pointed to a Travelocity printout that showed the fee. I found it in my Travelocity app but not in the fee section. It took a few clicks. I’ve never had to pay at a Holiday Inn before and I stay almost exclusively at these hotels. She said “you wanna go somewhere else?” Except I couldn’t because this booking was non refundable. Her coworker was coughing up phlegm right into her hands. The room was mostly clean except for the gooey substance on the night stand. I don’t want to know what it is. Definitely not Holiday Inn hospitality nor was it the famed Texas hospitality. Maybe change “pet friendly” to “pet barely-tolerant and irritated”.

Nice but…
Good staff. Great looking room. Very clean. People slammed doors in the Halway most of the night; until about 1:30am. People above were running around. We could hear them turn on light in the bathroom and could also hear the water.

We booked a 1 bed king/queen, was told we had a double queen standard after we already checked in which was less expensive and we were charged the more expensive 1 bed king rate, told nothing they could do because we booked through Expedia, told us we should have cancelled but it was too late so we were stuck with it since it was last room even though it showed up to 4 rooms were left, very poor business practices to blame on another company and pass the buck instead of taking ownership, will not book at this chain again, lost a customer for life
