"Great central location in Evergreen with so much easily within walking distance – restaurants, kayaking, morning pastries, evening libations, shopping, walk at the lake and more. (Nice to avoid driving and parking during crowded times.) We loved watching the deer and fawns relax in the meadow and were excited to see a herd of elk cross the road in front of the house. The house was very clean, and the manager quickly responded to our emails. In July the air conditioner kept the house at a comfortable temperature. There was plenty of room for several cars. The floorplan is unusual but worked well for us. Both of the two bathrooms opened off a hall. There are many beds and hide-a-beds throughout the house. Upstairs there are three bedrooms. Downstairs two bedrooms each have two doors that allow for privacy when closed at night. During the day we left the downstairs bedroom doors open to access the bathroom, game-room, second living room and second kitchen (which have exterior doors). Would definitely enjoy staying at The Dam Overlook again! "
