Epic Sana is a stunning hotel. Starting from the lobby right through to hotels grounds was all beautiful. The front desk was very helpful and friendly. Our room faced the ocean view and was set up beautifully. They made it extra special as it was our wedding anniversary. The breakfast was incredibly good and lots of food. This hotel is worth every penny spent. I can’t wait to return!

One of the best properties we've stayed in. The Premium rooms are spacious with big balcony and great ocean views. Highly recommneded. Breakfast is also good spread. Worth the five stars.

Attentive and friendly staff all over the hotel; from the kids club to the reception and dining area - the people really made our stay what it was. We had a small recurring issue with one of the lights in our room and were swiftly re-housed in a nearby, upgraded room which was great. The hotel was wonderfully clean and tidy, plenty to do between the beautiful beach/spa/pools/fitness classes and also very nearby padel courts. My partner and daughter are vegan - there was not an abundance of vegan options, but at breakfast the hotel were very helpful in making vegan alternatives where possible like pancakes in the morning; they had all the basics like plant based ‘dairy’ foods and they sourced vegan cheese for us, and had plenty of recommendations for restaurants in the area with good vegan options. There’s a small, quiet square with a small supermarket, shops, restaurants and bars just outside the grounds which was really handy for lunch and a few evenings to eat out, Pizzeria Falésia especially. We’d wholly recommend and would visit again; especially during a nearby vegan food festival in Loule in September!

Great hotel
The property is fantastic, can't say enough about the staff, friendly, helpful, and attentive to any request or needs. Location in Albufeira is amazing. Just don't know why a property of this caliber can't provide proper Wi-Fi because there is no encryption, so in my opinion it's essentially useless.

The hotel is AMAZING so are the staff!! The room had a beautiful view of the ocean and pool. The swallows were so cute flying around the greenery. The pool was great! Every 2 chairs had an umbrella. We went down to the beach but you have to reserve chairs and pay for them which we didn’t not so we sat on the sand for a little while. They have 4 restaurants which we only went to 2 we had buffet breakfast that had a lot to choose from and. Are at the Italian restaurant 2x food is excellent and Rita is the sweetest! All in all it’s ***** Much needed beach relax after site seeing Lisbon and Porto

Really great hotel, very clean and modern with excellent service. Rooms were perfect (stayed in deluxe suite). The room had everything we needed and they even provided a baby cot and high chair for our baby. The staff were always very polite and helpful and made us feel very welcome. The grounds of the hotel, including the various pools were well maintained and inviting. Great access to the beach as well but not suitable for a pram. The only reason for not providing 5 stars is due to the limited food options and the quality of the food. The breakfast was excellant but lunch and dinner options were a bit limited and some of the dishes were not the best. However, the venues were great and the staff brilliant. I would highly recommend this hotel but would suggest planning to eat outside the hotel in the evenings.

This is 5 European stars which is not equivalent to 5 American stars. The resort is nice, the food was great, but the area around hotel is not at par for 5 star. There are cigarettes buds on the property, the way to the beach is shared with everyone else and has litter under the stairs leading to the beach. You would not see things like that at 5 start US standards hotel. Plus, European all inclusive is different, you are still expected to pay for water, alcohol, and sun beds. The beach is beautiful but so crowded. Sun lounges by the pool could use deep cleaning, there is no service at the pool unless you ask, you have to clean after yourself too. Nobody comes around and takes your empty bottles. I did enjoy the stay, but I should have had lowers expectations from 5 stars in Europe.
