"We had such a wonderful time here two years ago that we returned this year! Had a similarly excellent experience this year. Martha is an incredible host, even going out of her way to make sure we had the kitchen items I had asked about ahead of our stay. The play room downstairs is a favorite for my three year old, and he has been asking to go back to that house all year when he sees pictures from our last stay."

"My 2 friends and I stayed here for a few days while visiting Anchorage and the surrounding area. The house was immaculate and homey, and we settled in quickly. The kitchen was well-stocked with pots, pans, and spices for us to cook a simple dinner, and we enjoyed the popcorn machine for watching movies on the projector screen. The host was also extremely responsive, proactive, and great to work with. I'd definitely recommend this to anybody looking for a home base outside of downtown Anchorage (but still pretty close)."

"Our stay started on a positive note with a beautiful home in a great location. The house felt clean upon arrival, which was a good first impression. However, the experience was marred by several issues that we encountered during our stay. The TV did not work the entire time we were there. We tried troubleshooting on our own but had no luck. We reached out to the host, who promised to get back to us, but unfortunately, we never heard from him again. To make matters worse, there was a leaking sink that caused water to drip into the kitchen cabinets and down the wall. There were several other minor issues, but we did our best to clean up and make the most of our stay. Overall, the home has potential, but the lack of responsiveness from the host and the unresolved maintenance issues made our stay less enjoyable than it could have been. "
