Q+A

Which browser works best with Travelocity.co.uk?
We recommend Netscape Navigator, Netscape Communicator or Microsoft Internet Explorer version 3.0 or higher to best utilize all functions of Travelocity.co.uk. If you don't use one of these browsers, you will not have the full functionality of Travelocity.co.uk.

I was in the middle of making a reservation when I lost my Internet connection. What do I do now?
If you did not receive a confirmation screen before you were disconnected, then in all likelihood your reservation was not completed. To verify this, re-access Travelocity.co.uk and access "Your Account" located on the top right hand side of the home page. If you do not have a reservation, then you will need to return to the reservations system to book your flight, car, or hotel.

I've been receiving "Travelocity.co.uk Busy" responses.
Weekday afternoons are considered peak usage times for Travelocity.co.uk. We suggest, if possible, you try again early in the morning, in the evening or on the weekend. This should work most of the time, but be aware certain events (such as the beginning or end of an airline fare war) result in increased traffic to our site. We constantly monitor the traffic at our site and make the necessary adjustments to add capacity and allow peak performance.

My computer freezes up during the reservation process.
It is not uncommon for an Internet Browser to freeze up when you are in any web site. In fact, there are many documented cases of combinations of certain operating systems (e.g. Macintosh or Win 95/98) and particular browser versions, which can cause a browser to freeze. We recommend that you go to the Microsoft (for Internet Explorer browsers) or Netscape web site to look at their documentation on browser problems.
