I thought it was great that it had a little kitchen area. The only problem I saw was the rugs looked like someone threw up on them and it didn't smell that great. They could use a good cleaning. Overall, I would definitely stay there again.

Glad we were only here for one night and only to sleep. The location was very iffy and felt somewhat unsafe; very noisy outside, very strange setup of the hotel. Not clean and not nice at all. The people were nice, not the hotel room. Location was convenient to downtown, but would not be inclined to stay here again.

Was easy to get to from airport by public transport. Easy to get to Canada place by bus. Lots of places to eat and lovely view of the harbour. Room comfortable and quiet.

This is more a 2 1/2 star
This place hasn’t been updated since the 70’s. “Lobby” is small and kinda gross looking. Honestly we were concerned about bed bugs but didn’t see any. Beds were comfortable. And it did seem to be where everything is happenen.

There is NO PRESENCE ON THE STREET. You have to go into the hotel to find out about parking, but there was no place to park on the street to go into the hotel. The elevator was tiny and the door did NOT LIKE TO STAY CLOSED so that the elevator could function. I ended up holding the door shut so the elevator would function.

This place is old and dated. The best part is the area. West end by the English Bay Beach is great with so many restaurants and pubs nearby but the hotel is garbage. Tear it down and rebuild or renovate! No AC, TV barely worked, old mismatched fixtures, old elevator that didn't make sense, yucky carpeting, just not up to Vancouver standards. I'd expect this on the downtown Eastside but not in this neighborhood

Good hotel with a fully equipped kitchen
The hotel is a little old and there is no service nor breakfast. The location is good and easy to get to town. There is a fully equipped kitchen so we can cook our own food. The air con is a little noisy especially when we are sleeping...but its okey for a cheap hotel near town. Some of the lamps are difficult to operate but we managed.

The location is perfect. The only one thing that needs to be updated is the elevator. It smells and it doesn’t work properly. Out of that, it is good enough for sleeping and have a shower. It’s a very basic hotel.

If you’re looking for high end hotel this is not the one for you. However if you’re looking for a place to rest your head with all the amazing things to do with in a short walk this is the place. Unground off street parking but need a small vehicle and is on a first come first serve basis . Overal satisfied with my stay with my wife and kiddo age 5

This is not a 5 star hotel, but the folks at the desk had me checked in right away and I was in my "suite" in minutes. The furnishings are not shiny and new but for the price getting a full kitchen with a dining area, a twin and a double bed and a large clean bathroom is a pretty good deal.

Great value for the price. Friendly, helpful staff. Yes it's a little outdated but more importantly our rooms were all clean, all essentials were provided, air con was great and it was handy having a kitchenette too. The location is the number one drawcard for this hotel, central to transport, shops, eateries and the beach is just across the road. Bonus for us, we were lucky to have an amazing view from our room over to the beach and beyond. Would recommend, it's such great value for the price but just go with the right expectations.
