Advertises microwave but there is no microwave. Elevator is too small. Have to wait for housekeeping to go to where they need to go with their bins on elevator in order for us to get in. Breakfast is $20 A DAY. They also advertise room service but when I called the restaurant, they said no room service, I have to pick up the food myself. There was something wrong with the tv. Volume does not go high enough. Only high enough on YouTube. But couldn’t watch regular channels because we couldn’t hear anything. Overall, too expensive with no microwave or room service. Even breakfast is free at most hotels I’ve been in.

Nice Philipsburg hotel, awful staff
The rooms and general amenities at Holland House are very nice. The front desk and restaurant staff are rude, dismissive, slow, inattentive, and point fingers at one another when you don’t care who did it, you just want it resolved. Beach and bar staff are great. General tip, for exceptional levels of service that you expect when on holiday, stay on the French side of the island.

Whenever we cruise out or into Sint Maarten, we stay at Holland House. With the beach and boardwalk on one side and front street and shopping out their front door, the location is ideal. The staff are wonderful. We love coming back time after time and greeting familiar faces.

This place was great. We had so many travel problems with our airline. The hotel itself and hotels.com were fantastic about helping us manage a later check in etc. Staff was super friendly. Food was amazing. Absolutely recommend

The Holland House was a very lovely spot. It had a great beach and the location in Philipsburg was very good. We enjoyed the breakfasts and the restaurant was great for dinner as well.
