Room layout was a bit odd, bath and toilet were somewhat cramped. Sink and mirror were between livingroom and bed area. Was a nice big mirror and well lit. Only actual knock was wish breakfast included scrambled eggs and sausage. had waffles, yougurt, bagles, some ceral options, orange and apple juice, but the only eggs were hardboiled. So that was the knock on the sevice and not sure that counts as a service issue or something else.

Wasn’t happy that the pool was down. It wasn’t open the last time we came here. At this point I just won’t look forward to having access to the pool. Upon check in I was talking to my husband about going to visit with family instead of staying at the hotel(after getting checked in, since the pool was closed). Came back early so we could swim. And the front desk guy said he could cancel our room. Nobody said anything about canceling that was so unprofessional. Doubt we’d be staying here again any time soon. Bad enough we came here to Akron to bury our grandfather. Tossed and turned the entire night. Upon checking out I watched the front desk lady tell another guest “oh we don’t have to check your room you’ve stayed here enough,you’re good to go”. Gave him back his deposit no problem. I had to wait like 5 minutes to get my cash deposit back. After already waiting in line 5 minutes to check out. Breakfast was ok only had a waffle and juice. Room was clean just outdated. Didn’t even watch tv here.

The hotel was old and run down. The refrigerator was a mini fridge, the microwave was from the 80's, literally, the bathroom was a tiny hallway, and the management was mean spirited and rude.
